The Services Marketing Mix – The Extended 7 Ps:
Traditional marketing revolves around the 4 Ps. However, due to the unique nature of services, three additional Ps are added.
- Product: The core service offering.
- Price: The cost of the service.
- Place: Where the service is delivered.
- Promotion: Communicating the service’s benefits to customers.
- People: All individuals involved in the service delivery, influencing the customer’s perceptions.
- Processes: The mechanisms, activities, and flow that lead to service delivery.
- Physical Evidence: Tangible elements that help represent or sell the service, like brochures, physical environment, or web interface.
