By showing love and kindness to the stranger, a random African person, I demonstrate the inherent value of every human being.
When one African hurts, we all hurt.
Away with tribalism and divisions along religious and ethnic lines.
Africa, we are one!
I will criticize with gentility. I will not take what belongs to the community. As a leader, I pledge to lead with compassion. I pledge to cooperate with others. I pledge to seek the prosperity of others, and to be a good steward of public wealth.
I choose dialogue over quarrel. I choose debate over weapons. I choose civility over war.
