OVERVIEW
The MA in Education with Montessori Teacher Credential (Elementary) prepares students to become certified Montessori educators for elementary classrooms worldwide. Students gain deep expertise in Montessori philosophy, curriculum design, sustainable leadership, and effective teaching strategies. With mostly an online learning format with a two-week, in-person coursework, students graduate ready to teach, launch their own schools, or transform educational systems globally.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
Become a globally credentialed Montessori educator who shapes the future of education:
How to design and lead Montessori-inspired learning environments.
How to integrate sustainable leadership and Ubuntu principles into educational settings.
How to apply Montessori methods to teach history, geography, math, language, and geometry at the elementary level.
How to start your own innovative school or transform an existing school.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and demonstrate proficiency in English. We welcome applicants from all academic backgrounds who are passionate about innovative, child-centered education and making a difference. No previous Montessori experience is required - only the commitment to learning transformative education. Osiri University will accept up to nine credits (approximately three graduate courses) previously taken courses at other universities towards a master’s degree. Exemptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.
To begin the enrollment process, please upload a copy of your bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent qualification, such as an HND) or an unofficial transcript, along with the administrative fee. After starting classes, ensure that official transcripts are sent to the Registrar via email at [email protected], or mailed to The Registrar, 2737 N. 49th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, USA, 68504, directly from your former institution.
