Course Description International Business is an experiential course where students write about aspects of launching a venture in a foreign environment while developing cultural competency. The course is designed to investigate a particular cultural context, and permits for an interdisciplinary work. Therefore, your venture idea may draw from disciplines such as education, science, social science, and the humanities.
Learning Outcomes By the end of the course, students will be able to: 1. Develop an awareness of how business functions can vary in the global context. 2. Learn about ethical dilemmas in global business and how to resolve them. 3. Evaluate the impact of internationalization on the financial health of a business venture.
