COURSE DESCRIPTION:
English: This course lays out how to turn an idea into an opportunity, which allows the entrepreneur to be able to bootstrap or fundraise. This course is designed for entrepreneurs who want to expand their existing venture and for would-be entrepreneurs who wish to validate their ideas and position themselves for success by taking calculated risks. You will learn to initiate projects and set up a venture either for-profit or not-for-profit, structure an organization and develop a business model, leverage resources, assemble and motivate a team, and create a customer base in order to begin and sustain the projects or businesses. This course is taught in English.

- Omsomi will describe the components of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial marketing.
- Omsomi will create a business model and a business plan for a venture idea.
- Omsomi will understand entrepreneurship and be able to inject African concepts into his or her practice of entrepreneurship.
- Omsomi will be inspired to start something and sustain it.
